I decided to upgrade my late 2012 mac mini. I purchased two Samsung 840 Pro Solid State Hard Drives. My mac mini required me to purchase the kit to supply a new hard drive in the upper bay. I removed both hard drives, installed both SSD's, using the cable provided in the kit and cable provided by the original spinning drive in there.

I've been doing some research into the process and for the most part, it doesn't seem too difficult with installing an SSD as a 2nd drive into the Mac Mini (thanks to the thousands of YouTube videos on how to do it). I contacted FIXIT with this issues and have not heard a response yet.
